We hold our meetings every other month starting in January and ending in September and hold our annual luncheon normally the last Saturday in October. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM

Channel Islands Fly Fishing
Aboard the Sea Jay
Each summer and early fall Mike Forrest organizes Fly Fishing trips aboard the Sea Jay to the Channel Islands. Mike normally has two trips scheduled for July, August, September and one trip scheduled for early October. Mike tries to have one trip scheduled each month on a weekday and one trip scheduled for a weekend. Normally, these are a Wednesday and a Saturday. He limits the total anglers to six so that each angler is afforded thebest possible fishing experience. This is a full day of fly fishing. The Sea Jay leaves the dock at about 4:30 in the morning and returns about 4:00 in the afternoon. To book your sport give Mike Forrest a call at (818) 843-7907.

Channel Islands Sport Fishing
The Sea Jay is based at Channel Islands Sport Fishing 4151 S. Victoria Avenue, Oxnard, CA.
Captain John Fuqua is the
owner/operator of the Sea Jay. John is a very aggressive
captain with tons of experience. He is a top notch captain who enjoys
targeting White Seabass and Yellowtail.
The Sea Jay is a very comfortable boat.
She is the sister ship to the Island Tak in Oxnard. Don't be surprised when
you see some great fish counts from this boat this season. If you have a
chance run a charter with John on the Sea Jay you will not be disappointed.
